Who are Youth-Link services for?Youth-Link provides online mental health care services tailored to individuals aged 7 to 25 experiencing symptoms of mental illness. Our specialized experts are equipped to address the mental health conditions most prevalent during adolescence and young adulthood, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mood or behavioral disorders. We understand the unique challenges faced by young people during these formative years and are committed to providing personalized, compassionate care that empowers them to overcome obstacles and thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially.

How does Youth-Link work?1. Request an Appointment: Click on 'Request an Appointment' and provide the basic information including your name, email address, and phone number. We will reach out to you through your chosen method of contact to ask a few questions and schedule an initial examination for you or your child. Additionally, we will set up your access to our patient portal, which includes video conferencing features for your 1:1 appointment's. 2. Meet a specialized psychiatric provider: The initial appointment is done through Youth-Link's patient portal and usually lasts about 60 minutes. During this assessment, we discuss your symptoms or concerns, develop a tailored treatment plan, and answer any questions you or your child may have. The treatment plan will include behavioral therapy, medication or both, depending on the assessment and diagnoses. We will then schedule the necessary follow-up appointments. 3. Follow-up appointments and treatment plan: If a follow-up appointment is desired or recommended, it will be with your initial provider and will last approximately 30 minutes. Subsequent appointments will depend on your treatment plan and diagnosis. The purpose of these appointments is to track progress and improvement, optimize your treatment plan, and establish a relationship with your provider. Youth-Link is committed to patient care and will also stay connected with patients via the patient portal between virtual visits. For the full process, please see our Treatment page.

Can I take appointments from my phone?Yes, you can schedule appointments using a mobile device wherever you feel comfortable discussing your mental health concerns. Tablets and personal computers can also be used to take appointments.

Can I schedule an appointment if I don't live in Arizona?Unfortunately, not. As of now we can only see patients anywhere in the state of Arizona. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact us.

Do you prescribe medication?Yes, Youth-Link providers are authorized to prescribe both controlled and non-controlled medications based on the patient's diagnosis and tailored treatment plan. Our approach ensures that each prescription aligns with the individual needs of the patient for optimal outcomes. To enhance convenience, prescriptions will be sent electronically to a local pharmacy near the patient's residence, allowing for easy access to their medications. This streamlined process helps minimize delays and ensures that our patients can focus on their mental health and well-being.

Does Youth-Link have a physical office?No, Youth-Link is a fully digital telehealth service provider operating in Arizona. We believe this model offers our patients the flexibility to attend appointments from the locations where they feel most secure, whether it's the comfort of their home or another private space. Our telehealth services are designed to remove barriers to care, ensuring that adolescents can access the mental health support they need without the constraints of traditional in-person visits. By prioritizing convenience and comfort, we aim to create a supportive environment that encourages open communication and effective treatment.

Does Youth-Link offer Therapy?No, Youth-Link is a fully digital telehealth provider operating in Arizona, focusing on providing psychiatric care to adolescents. While we do not offer therapy directly, we collaborate with a network of trusted therapists. If therapy becomes necessary, we will ensure you or your child is referred to an appropriate therapist to receive the support needed for comprehensive care.

Does Youth-Link have an app?Yes and no. Youth-Link uses the MYIO Patient Portal app to connect with clients. Available for both Apple and Android devices, this app allows patients to book appointments, securely message their providers, join telehealth sessions, and access additional features for a seamless care experience.
