1. Request an Appointment: Click on 'Request an Appointment' and provide the basic information including your name, email address, and phone number. We will reach out to you through your chosen method of contact to ask a few questions and schedule an initial examination for you or your child with one of our adolescent psychiatry specialists. Additionally, we will set up your access to our patient portal, which includes video conferencing features for your 1:1 appointment's.
2. Meet a specialized adolescent psychiatry provider: The initial appointment is done through Youth-Link's patient portal and usually lasts about 60 minutes. During this assessment, our adolescent psychiatry expert will discuss your symptoms or concerns, develop a tailored treatment plan, and answer any questions you or your child may have. The treatment plan will include behavioral therapy, medication or both, depending on the assessment and diagnoses within the scope of adolescent psychiatry. We will then schedule the necessary follow-up appointments.
3. Follow-up appointments and treatment plan: If a follow-up appointment is desired or recommended within your adolescent psychiatry care, it will be with your initial provider and will last approximately 30 minutes. Subsequent appointments will depend on your treatment plan and diagnosis within the adolescent psychiatry framework. The purpose of these appointments is to track progress and improvement, optimize your treatment plan, and establish a relationship with your adolescent psychiatry provider. Youth-Link is committed to patient care and will also stay connected with patients via the patient portal between virtual visits.

Youth-Link Psychiatry currently provides virtual adolescent psychiatric services to patients located in Arizona and Virginia. Care is delivered through a secure telehealth platform, allowing adolescents and their families in these states to access psychiatric evaluations, ongoing treatment, and medication management from home.
Because telehealth services are regulated at the state level, Youth-Link only offers care to patients who are physically located in states where its clinicians are licensed to practice at the time of service. This ensures all care is provided in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
As Youth-Link Psychiatry continues to grow, the practice plans to expand into additional states where licensure and regulatory requirements are met. Updates regarding new states of service availability will be shared on the website as they are confirmed.
If you are unsure whether Youth-Link currently serves your state, you are encouraged to contact the practice directly or check the most recent information on this page.
Yes, Youth-Link Psychiatry providers are authorized to prescribe both controlled and non-controlled medications based on the patient's diagnosis and tailored treatment plan. Our approach ensures that each prescription aligns with the individual needs of the patient for optimal outcomes. To enhance convenience, prescriptions will be sent electronically to a local pharmacy near the patient's residence, allowing for easy access to their medications. This streamlined process helps minimize delays and ensures that our patients can focus on their mental health and well-being.
Yes. Youth-Link Psychiatry accepts both insurance and cash-pay options for services. Coverage and accepted insurance plans may vary depending on the patient’s location and individual policy, and our team works with families to help clarify benefits, copays, deductibles, and any out-of-pocket costs prior to treatment.
For families who prefer not to use insurance, Youth-Link also offers transparent cash-pay options. This allows patients to access care without insurance restrictions and provides clear, upfront pricing for psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment.
Whether using insurance or choosing to self-pay, Youth-Link Psychiatry is committed to providing affordable, accessible virtual psychiatric care for adolescents and their families. Our team is available to answer billing questions and help you determine the payment option that best fits your needs.

No. Youth-Link Psychiatry does not operate a physical office and provides care exclusively through a secure virtual telehealth model. Services are available to patients located in states where our clinicians are licensed, including Arizona and Virginia.
Our fully virtual approach allows adolescents and families to attend appointments from a location where they feel most comfortable and secure—such as their home or another private space. By removing the need for in-person visits, Youth-Link helps reduce common barriers to care, including travel time, scheduling challenges, and geographic limitations.
Through telehealth, we are able to deliver accessible, consistent psychiatric care while prioritizing privacy, convenience, and continuity of treatment for adolescents and their families.
