Insurance and Coverage at Youth-Link Psychiatry

The cost of an appointment varies based on the service provided but is discounted to ensure affordability. Please ask your provider about cash pay costs when booking your next appointment.

If you decide to use an installment plan, we'll take the cost of the service and break it up into a number of payments with no interest. This is to ensure affordability for our patients who don't have our accepted insurance partners. The number and frequency of payments can be negotiated with Youth-Link, but generally kept to four payments over the course of eight weeks.

We currently accept: UnitedHealthcare Aetna Blue Cross and Blue Shield We are currently working to add more insurance providers to better serve our patients. Please contact us at support@youth-link.com (support@youth-link.com)for inquiries into your insurance provider.

If you have a deductible, you will have to pay it before your insurance starts paying for the services provided. However, in certain cases, your insurance might pay for care sooner. The best way to learn more about deductibles is to contact your insurance company directly.

After each appointment, we submit claims to your insurance provider. Once processed, you'll receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) detailing the services billed, the portion covered by insurance, and any remaining balance. If there's a balance, we'll send you an invoice and charge the credit card on file through the patient portal.

Please keep in mind that insurance plans sometimes have caps on the number of covered visits per year. It's best to call your insurance provider to better understand if there are limits or not.
